Wretched - Decay CD

After nearly a decade of silence, Wretched return to reclaim their place among the most revered names in American technical death metal scene. Originally formed 2005 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the band rose to prominence through their blend of unrelenting speed, intricate riffing, and melodic sophistication, showcased on albums like The Exodus Of Autonomy (2009), Beyond The Gate (2010), Son Of Perdition (2012), and Cannibal (2014).

Now signed to Metal Blade Records, Wretched’s long awaited fifth studio album, Decay (2023), represents both a rebirth and a bold continuation of their artistic legacy. Conceptually, Decay acts as a prequel to the acclaimed album “Beyond The Gate,” diving deeper into the mythological and philosophical foundations that have always shaped Wretched’s storytelling.
