Bands
Corambirra Records is home to passionate, rough-edged music rooted in coremetal, and punk rock. We currently work closely with a small number of dedicated artists who value authenticity and physical formats. Artist-to-artist collaboration and fair treatment are central to our philosophy. As our roster grows, we remain committed to supporting unique voices and helping them shape their own sound, on their own terms.
Unknown Voyage is a four-piece pop-punk/alternative rock band formed in 2020 after meeting through Instagram. Their first session took place in a rehearsal space in Aschaffenburg, which remains their creative home base. While early momentum was slowed by the pandemic, the band began regular rehearsals in mid-2021, writing their first original material and performing their debut show at “Drummers Night.”
Since then, they’ve released multiple singles including “Lights Out,” “Life’s a Nightmare,” “Don’t Say Goodbye,” and “Daydream,” steadily building a following through their energetic live shows and heartfelt lyrics. Their 2023 “New Spring Tour” and appearances at festivals like Umsonst & Draußen Würzburg, Besser Als Nix, and Uff Musik have positioned them as one of the most promising emerging acts in the German alt scene.
Musically, Unknown Voyage blends driving guitars and catchy hooks with raw, emotional lyrics, taking inspiration from All Time Low, Green Day, and State Champs. Their songs speak to themes of loss, anxiety, connection, and hope, music that hits hard and stays honest.
Each member brings their own story to the sound:
Felix Sommer (vocals, guitar) is the main songwriter and frontman, shaped by the sounds of early 2000s pop-punk and a passion for storytelling.
Lukas Heeg (vocals, guitar) contributes melodic riffs and harmonies, blending punk energy with a background in classical guitar and choral music.
Nils Paeslack (drums) brings technical precision and a powerful live presence, drawing from metal, jazz, and orchestral percussion roots.
Niklas Herzog (bass) gives the band its rhythmic backbone, combining classical training with modern stage charisma and alternative influences.
In July 2025, Unknown Voyage signed with Corambirra Records to release their debut EP in summer 2026, a major step in their evolution as a band committed to honest music and real connection.
“You’re not alone. We’ve been where you are, just look at us now.”
Badura
Badura is a raw and emotionally charged melancholic metalcore project from Aschaffenburg, Germany, founded in early 2023 by guitarist Falk Badura. Starting as a solo endeavor, the project has evolved through intense personal and artistic phases, from confessional demos to conceptually records. Badura combines a fiercely ethos with a deep commitment to emotional authenticity, releasing all music under Corambirra Records.
The journey began with the demo album It’s Time to Say Goodbye (2023), a brutally honest and unpolished reflection of personal struggle. Written during one of the darkest periods, the record captures raw emotion through rough production and deeply expressive performances.
Later that year, the Consideration EP marked a significant milestone in the project's development. The release served as a transitional moment, refining the project's identity, exploring new directions, and laying the groundwork for what would follow.
In 2024, Beside They Walked Past Dying emerged as Badura’s debut album, a concept-driven, uncompromising record centered on the psychological and physical horrors of war. With its harsh dynamics, spoken-word passages, and refusal to follow metalcore conventions, the album delivers a chilling narrative of power, despair, and survival. Regional press praised the album’s intensity and depth, calling it “metalcore without clichés” and “not for passive listeners.”
All music is written, produced, and mixed by Falk Badura, with contributions from collaborators such as Bastian Merklein and mastering engineer Andreas Florin (Florin Media). Unfiltered, introspective, and always evolving, Badura stands as a distinct voice in the modern underground scene.
