Wolfpack - Loathe CD

Straight out of the streets of Paris, Wolfpack unleash Loathe, a record that takes their established beatdown hardcore foundation and pushes it into much darker, heavier and more adventurous territory.

Known primarily for their destructive live performances, Wolfpack use Loathe to prove that there is considerably more to their sound than sheer stage brutality. At its core, Loathe remains deeply rooted in beatdown hardcore, delivering the kind of crushing potency associated with Nasty and the sheer heaviness of Harm's Way. At the same time, a renewed sense of groove brings Biohazard to mind, while increasingly prominent metal influences draw from the likes of Gojira, Machine Head and Slipknot.

Adding another dimension to the record is a guest appearance from Cédric of Paris' own Hangman's Chair, further reinforcing the darker edge running throughout Loathe.

Released by BDHW Records, Loathe captures Wolfpack defining their sound on their own terms: brutally heavy, atmospheric and unapologetically.

Why You'll Love This Album

  • Crushing Paris beatdown hardcore with an unmistakable metallic edge.

  • Packed with destructive moshparts, breakdowns and heavyweight grooves.

  • Expands beyond traditional hardcore without losing its foundations.

Sound & Aesthetics Highlights

Sound & Production

Loathe balances crushing hardcore weight with a broader and more refined sonic palette. Dense guitars and destructive breakdowns are complemented by metal textures and darker atmospheric sections.

Atmosphere & Mood

Dark, confrontational, oppressive and intensely physical, Loathe carries the violence and energy of a hardcore pit while introducing more somber and ambient moments. The contrast makes the album feel bigger and more varied without sacrificing its impact.
