With A Tear In The Fabric Of Life, Kentucky hardcore legends Knocked Loose expand their musical and emotional range like never before. Across six songs, the band dives into a dark, conceptual narrative of tragedy and transcendence, a journey through grief, guilt, and the shadow of death.

The EP tells a coherent story first hinted at on their last album A Different Shade Of Blue, exploring the aftermath of a car accident through the eyes of the deceased and the surviving loved ones. To bring the story to life, Knocked Loose even created a short animated film, visually amplifying the emotional depth and atmosphere of the record.

Musically, the band’s signature hardcore intensity is fused with death metal ferocity and eerie ambient textures.

Guitars dissolve into walls of sound, radio interludes weave the narrative together, and haunting vocal-only passages create a chilling sense of realism.
