Founded in Chicago 2018, Buggin have always approached hardcore with a simple goal: have a good time while making music that feels genuine. Their debut full-length, Concrete Cowboys, brings that attitude together in a lively and groove-driven collection of hardcore punk songs.

Released in spring 2023 on Flatspot Records, Concrete Cowboys marks the band's first full-length album following their 2019 demo, the 2020 Buggin Out EP and singles including “Attitude” and “Brainfreeze.”

The album represents a natural progression for Buggin while maintaining everything that made their earlier material so appealing. The songs are energetic, direct and packed with groove, but the band never takes themselves too seriously.The title Concrete Cowboys comes from a song originally featured on Buggin's 2019 demo. The track was reworked for the full-length alongside “Poser Bulldozer,” giving older material a new life while introducing listeners to the band's developing sound.

Tracks such as “Snack Run” and “The Customer Is Always Wrong” demonstrate Buggin's ability to find humor and energy in everyday situations. Rather than relying exclusively on hardcore's traditional aggression and seriousness, the band inject personality and fun into their songwriting.
