With Glue, Boston Manor enter a new phase of their musical evolution. Their third studio album finds the British quintet confronting the state of the world around them, transforming frustration, anxiety and social criticism into their most direct and musically adventurous collection of songs to date.

The 13 tracks were created through what vocalist Henry Cox describes as a particularly messy creative process. That rawness ultimately became one of the album's greatest strengths, allowing Boston Manor to challenge themselves creatively and move beyond the expectations established by their earlier releases.

Glue draws together different elements from across the band's history. The dark and unsettling atmosphere of Welcome To The Neighbourhood meets the powerful melodic punk energy of their 2016 debut Be Nothing, while the songwriting pushes into new and more experimental territory.

The result is a furious yet carefully constructed record. Powerful guitars, driving rhythms and melodic hooks create an intense foundation for Cox's emotionally charged vocals, while the lyrics examine modern society and the frustrations and anxieties that come with living in an increasingly uncertain world.

Recorded at Barber Shop Studios in New Jersey, the same studio used for Welcome To The Neighbourhood, Glue was created with a notably different approach. Mike Sapone produced the album, with Brett Romnes handling post-production, helping Boston Manor realize a sound that is both expansive and immediate. The band's core lineup of Henry Cox, guitarists Mike Cunniff and Ash Wilson, bassist Dan Cunniff and drummer Jordan Pugh deliver a tightly focused performance throughout the record.

After seven years of working towards this point, Boston Manor describe Glue as the beginning of the band finally becoming the band they wanted to be. The album reflects that ambition, moving confidently between aggressive punk energy, atmospheric alternative rock and emotionally powerful post-hardcore.
